There are just some things you don't mess with...to me this is like remaking "Gone With the Wind" or "The Longest Day." Especially with the way the whole plot has been messed around and probably got Hollywierded.
It's a classic and being said classic, should have been left alone. The original didn't worry about offending the Russians or Cubans or anyone else for that matter. So not sure why they decided to be politically correct enough to stay away from the Chinese enemy, except for the bottom line and profit margin.
