I just wanted to wish a happy birthday to our great country. We are going through a time where millions are concerned about our freedoms. There may soon come a time where we must seperate the wheat from the chaff, and our country, as we know it, might not survive. However, I know in my heart of hearts that the ideals espoused in our great constitution will survive. We will come through this time of troubles a better, stronger, and more able country. Our people will remain our own masters, and others will still strive to replicate our own shining beacon of freedom as it touches all 4 corners of the world. This we must believe if we are to survive. Remember to stay true to God, Country and family. God Bless each and every one of you on this forum.

It aint drug lords in somalia having a power struggle, it aint syrian forces shooting down protestors, it aint egyptian troops fighting back, it aint the local jungle rebels changing the borders once again, it's not an attack on a green zone, it's not a faction of any kind, not a terrorist attack, no one being killed for "a cause", not a firing squad
It's a group of people celebrating the independance of this great country, some who have gone thru some real tough times and have very little left, some who are facing uncertainty of what tommorow has in store, some who may even live in a tent right now, many who couldnt even afford the fireworks BUT they celebrate because they know they still have a chance for tommorow and maybe just maybe it will be better.
Tiny is dead on folks and we still live in a truely great place where all is not yet lost and much to be gained
I'm very proud to be an American and we are blessed by God
