I think I rep the youngins here. 30, wife is 31, 4.5 year old and a 1 year old.
I wish my head wouldnt have been up my butt from 14-25 because I used to be single with a good bit of wasted money. At least I started backpacking back then and learned the woods.
I now have a family to prep for.

Tank how old are you and yours?
It appears as though the 40+ crowd are the majority so far.

45-50 for us. We have been prepping for years. since we were 30-35
Our Grandparents, both sides were Depression era, country folks, learned skills out of "It's just how we do it"
We lived in Florida for our 30's and made the decision what we had learned as children was the better way of doing things.
Being without power, water and stores to go to for a week or so, kind of forces you to make choices!Last edited by BioG8r; 07-01-2012, 10:39 AM.

40-45. my dad was raised in Texas durring some real hard times. As I was growing up we always had "a little something for a rainy day" but I only recently (within the last 4 years) took what he tought seriously. Wish I would have listened sooner.

Age of Preppers
Well I have been wondering about the age of all preppers. It seems most are alot younger than I am, and the older people are just letting things come as they may.
If you would please list your age within a 5 yr span, 30 to 35, 35- 40 and so on.
Thanks in advance
