Tank we're only thinking of leaving for a bol if the bodies start stinking up the yard...chuckle....Originally posted by tank View PostI have never ran and hid from anything in my life, and I'm not about to start now. let the rioters and looters come, they might not like what they find while looking for something else.
Seriously Tank, if it gets that bad I won't be working so I will be home with Patriot Lady to protect what's ours. We're moving to a home in a small town(population 800)that's only 1/2 mile from my work so when the shtf I can be home quick. The farthest my work might take me from home during the day when I'm out in my terrirtory is 14 miles from home. I've got a BOB in my truck but am reworking my workbag(airforce backpack)so I'll have what I need for a short walk home. Like you we don't run and we don't scare easy. It would have to get pretty insane in that town for us to consider someplace else.
I tell people we're too old to run, too old to fight, but able to pull a trigger with one hand and not spill our coffee held in the other hand. Coffee is the most important food group there is!

That's where we're at Tank. We're bugging in and thinking of a good bol. It's going to have to get really bad in our little town for us to think we'd be better off in the zombie wilderness trying to find a hidey hole. I saw a guy who has a sign on his door that says, "If you come through this door you will be killed". Maybe we should go ahead and put that on our door so the word gets around to the locals....chuckle....Originally posted by tank View Postmiddle aged, that's funny, I have never seen anyone that was 128 years old. I'm not sure how to go, with health and age we are kinda thinking about hungering down and ride out the storm. Instead of bugging out. Although we would like to have some place to bug out to.

I don't know about anyone else, but the older I get, the older "middle aged" gets! :DOriginally posted by tank View Postmiddle aged, that's funny, I have never seen anyone that was 128 years old. 50s for me and my bride. We've semi-prepped for several years but got serious about a year ago. Like others here, wish we'd started sooner and wish we'd found this site sooner! We're learning about a lot of things that we'd not thought of and are just now starting to put some our learning into practice! Hyper drive prepping starting in a few weeks!
