    Yesterday I graduated from the local community college, only two more years to finish my degree!

          CONGRATS TO YOU!!!!

          My wife graduated yesterday morning from Mercer U with her BA in teaching "gubmit mandated future leaches." I hope if she chooses to work in this field, that she makes a difference in their lives like she does my boys.

          I am so proud of people that accomplish this feat. Its tough and hard but it creates character.

                  Congratulations! Sumday I recon I might git me some edumacation too. :cool:

                  What kinda degree are ya going for? We have a friend who's daughter just got her degree in "Art History" I have no idea what she's gonna do with that!! (and neither do her folks...)

                    Congrats MustangGal! Wish I'd finished college when I had the chance but I was "too smart" to listen to my elders at the time.

                      Early Childhood Education. Yes, education has a lot of problems, but we are really blessed with good schools and many, many Christian teachers and admin. in our area.

                        Congrats!
                        I was 26 when I went back, My BS is in Horticulture, Emphasis in Agriculture Education (WKU), Working on Masters in Environmental Sciences - Sustainability (KySU). I have enjoyed nearly everyday of Teaching.
                        Getting them young is the real way to make a difference. I have to change their minds after they have learned something else, You will get to put that first knowledge into them!!!
