Thats what im trying to decide. Just started adding dry goods like rice and beans. The weekend project is gong to be the long term packaging of them. Right now i just havea standard vacum sealer.
Matt your in oklahoma where is the best place to get mylar in this great stat of ours?

I dont know anywhere that sells mylar. i get mine from various sources like amazon or i think that frugals store (at the bottom of the page) sells it. I wouldnt use oxy absorbers in the plastic because they get hot and even if it didnt melt all the way thru it would certainly deteriorate/weaken it. Mylar is better than plastic and no special equip is needed outside of an iron.
