I commute to the west Loop. The 20th is a sunday, the 21st is a Monday. Might have to call in sick that day!

I always wanted to annex that city off to Canada...I haven't heard anything about this but I will ask the FIL if he has heard about the IDOT warnings he is an owner/operator so he might have heard something.

I heard on the radio that a group of protesters is planning on riding bikes into the city.
They are not a real threat obviously, but it speaks to the 'draw' of the event to foks from all over. Sounds like a cluster I'd like to avoid!

I spoke to my FIL and he said that they close down commercial traffic due to the shear volume and how long it would take to search vehicles and what not in those areas....don't know if that includes shutting down ramps and all that.
