  • A little laughter:

    Is always good medicine.

Ever get tired of those "you are pre-approved for a $500,000,000 limit" credit card junk mail applications one gets about every single day? You know, the one's that come with the postage paid envelopes for mailing back to the banks or whatever? If you really, really want them to stop sending you those applications:

Tape that postage paid envelope to a nicely packaged brick and drop it in the mailbox with a simple note declining their services.

Sometimes in life, the creative solutions to problems are far funnier than getting upset over junk mail.

I have been sending them back for years to eat their postage.....never thought of the brick though! Good call.

A brick is too big. Try a piece of shingle or a wooden shim. That way it will get there and they have to pay even more postage for the added weight! ;)

I always liked to put in every piece of other junk mail that would fit in there. Kills two birds with one stone and no recycling required.
