Amusing ourselves to death!

I saw this video on another forum and felt it reflected what happening today and how it's destroying our way of life.

I haven't watched the video, but I will relate one thing that I have shared with people I meet for the last 40 years or more: The word amuse is a compound word with two parts. A means away from and muse means to ponder or reflect deeply on a subject. The PTB don't want people to think, they want them to follow blindly. The PTB favor illiteracy because people who read well and widely are likely to reject the garbage they see which is an obvious repetition of historical failures. To quote a cohort of John Dewey (American marxist and father of modern Amerikan education) "Too much reading is vicious and vacuous and makes people too individualistic." In other words we won't be good sheep.
