    Self-avowed Communist Van Jones reveals his plans for this spring and summer:



    The domino effect is gaining momentum. It started with Occupy Wall Street, moved to Sanford, FL , and now it is coming to a city near you. The violence will get stronger as the election gets closer.

    If any of you have children under the age of 30 who would view this "gathering of American youth" as a "cool" thing to be involved in, please do your best to warn them of the consequences of being a ******/useful idiot.

    What a world of hurt there will be if Van Jones and his "friends in high places" bring America down through hatred.

    Unfortunately folks are too much enamored with the romantic notion of 'protesting' that they do not even try to see who is pulling the strings and which way they are being steered to go. They will find out when it is too late to stop the train. Lefties always were dreamers and not very realistic....

      It's sad that politicians often use the youth and/or ideologues such as the environmentalists to forward their agenda.
      Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream.         I still consider myself "the youth: (as MIA would say, too young for even paintball pellets) and I will tell ALL OF YOU first hand, 90% of my generation and about 97% of the one younger than me are absolute idiots. Trust me, I had to grow up with these idiots. Some of us got hit with the 2x4 and figured it out. Some of us also have $1500 mortgages and $700 truck payments, already divorced, drink LIGHT BEER, and has been told countless times by the WiseOwl that owning a 30-06 with 3 boxes of bullets and an AR with 47 rounds plus all of the debt and fancy crap is pointless. Just go ahead and jump off a cliff. Or get your crap together!
        I have now refrained from giving anyone advice on bettering themselves (also if they jump I will be held accountable in these modern times of blame)

        And whats funny is just about all of the kids I grew up with that are either musicians, artists, "political scientists, hippies, skaters, or potheads are as far left as a left handed cigarette held by a southpaw pitcher for the 1924 Boston Braves.

          I'm scratching at 40 and I feel like my generation/age group was the same.

          Factor in all the 20 and 30 somethings that have done almost nothing with their life and have little or nothing to show for it. Now work them up by giving them the out that they have nothing/have done nothing cause "da man" is holding them back. Rise above? You can't do that cause da man is there to squash you at every juncture.

          Some people need/want or will willingly accept an excuse for why they have done little or nothing with their life. Conspiracies both left wing AND right wing often give a small percentage an excuse as to why they have accomplished little in life.

          Some of the more out there ones actually think their lot in life will get better if something does happen.

          Recently the wife and I have been discussing extended family members on both sides of our family. The common thread is that they all still blow their money on stuff that benefits THEM only and then complain when they have to spend some time/gas money to take care of a sick loved one. A new Ipad for themselves, no problem they seem to be able to come up with the money. $40. in gas to go take care of a sick loved one, oh that's a big flippin deal.

          Paul told us that in the end "perilous times will come. Men will be lovers of self more than lovers of God......" Selfishness.

          Gonna be a lot of people rioting/uprising one day that think their lot in life will end up better because of it. They are the idealists like the extended family we were discussing- thinking that socialism will bring some BS utopia where everything is free and easy. Quite the contrary, history proves it's BS.

          Even the early church, we are told in the books of Acts, tried to have "all things in commune" and that seemed to work at first for a very short period of time. But it wasn't long after that Paul admonished them that "any man that wouldn't work, the same shouldn't eat." Why the change? I think they were dealing with the same problem we are dealing with today, we have dealt with since the fall and that is HUMAN NATURE.

            Ever notice how when something is good it is stated in the singular and when it's bad it is stated in the plural? "I won the lottery" versus "We have to stand up to the people...".

              My son, 19, professes to be an 'anarchist'. I've asked him what he means by that. He says that there're too many rules. I told him I agree with that but do you know what anarchism really means. He doesn't. I had him watch 'Blackhawk Down' with me and told him that true anarchism in real life really means rule by force...basically feudalism. I told him that he wouldn't last a day on the streets as a true anarchist. He just smirked at me like he knows it all. Also listens to gangsta rap railing against 'da man'. Now, he's blond with blue eyes and has never lived on the streets or been oppressed. All excuses for being lazy. I've tried to reason with him to no avail. I'm just starting to prep but am keeping him out of the loop until he grows some live brain cells :-)

                LOL, I think we all were that way at 19. "Old man don't know crap! I know everything!"

                He'll wise up eventually. Happened to us all. George Clemenceau puts it best: "Everything I know I learned after I was thirty."
                Experience is a cruel teacher, gives the exam first and then the lesson.

                  Seems like we all go through the same basic stages.

                  Take heart jimmy. I've heard the older we get the smarter our parents get...in many cases anyway! LOL
