George Zimmerman, accused in the shooting death of Florida teen Trayvon Martin, could be cleared of a second-degree murder charge if a judge rules in his favor in a "Stand Your Ground" hearing.
Zimmerman's defense attorney Mark O'Mara predicted on his website Thursday that there will be a "Stand Your Ground" hearing based on his client's claim he shot the unarmed teen in self-defense. A finding in Zimmerman's favor would end the criminal case against him, as well as immunizing him from civil action.
"Now that the State has released the majority of their discovery, the defense asserts that there is clear support for a strong claim of self-defense. Consistent with this claim of self-defense, there will be a 'Stand Your Ground' hearing," said O'Mara in a statement.

THere's been no official announcement yet,
I think this was more GZ's lawyer posturing, trying to get the idea out there now that this should be ruled in his favor.

Perhaps in talking to the nonpreparing types, that you care for and might listen, wording could be something like this for Manmade idiocies:

Be in the right places even if it means you miss something on days of tensions and important decisions
Have what is needed in case your delayed
Have protection, the most powerful weapon in the world is your mind (which should be attached to other things)
Know where everyone is so you arent worrying about them which would cause you to go out into it
Have alternate plans such as routes, safe places or transportation modes

These words might be able to start a spark even it doesnt change their total attitude, dunno, maybe. I plan on sending an e-mail to everyone on my list soon to at least try

I believe if he is found guilty, all hell breaks loose locally and possibly statewide.

If he is found not guilty, all hell breaks loose nationwide, especially larger cities.

I'll keep my guard up either way. Look at what the crazy people do when a college team wins the Final Four or Football Championship.

"Although many of the allegations in Zimmerman's motion, standing alone, do not meet the legal sufficient test, and while this is admittedly a close call, upon careful review we find that the allegations, taken together, meet the threshold test of legal sufficiency," wrote the majority of the judges. This is the second judge to get removed from the case. In April, O'Mara claimed Judge Jennifer Recksiedler created a conflict of interest.
