A third NBC employee has been fired from the network after yet another misleadingly edited George Zimmerman 911 tape surfaced from the Trayvon Martin shooting.

In a story for the “Today” show on March 20, Luciano used part of the George Zimmerman 911 call in which an entire phrase (italicized below) was taken from a later part of the conversation:
Zimmerman: This guy looks like he’s up to no good or on drugs or something. He’s got his hand in his waistband. And he’s a black male.
Dispatcher: Are you following him?
Zimmerman: Yeah.
Dispatcher: Okay, we don’t need you to do that.

But here’s how the call really went:

Zimmerman: This guy looks like he’s up to no good or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about.
Dispatcher: OK, and this guy — is he white, black, or Hispanic?
Zimmerman: He looks black.

I understand the sentiment, but don't blame them one bit, within 12 hours of this becoming a 'big deal' all manner of shady folks were trying to make a buck of TM and GZ's name. If my kid had died, and it became a national story, I'd probably do the same thing, just to keep from being coopted by the idiots.

Well after these people started telling everyone they would KILL George Zimmerman, put a "bounty" on his head and threatened riots and widespread violence if they didn't get their way, they deserved to get investigated by the feds and put in jail.

It is starting. The Feds are threatening to pull money away from the states if they have a self defense law. Hit them during economic tough times and the states may give to the Feds wishes.
