Anyone hear when they plan on announcing if Zimmerman will be arrested & tried or not? I hope it is not this weekend... We have a camping trip. I may have to supplement my pistol with a carbine and some mags... Since it will be a higher alert for me...

From what I understand, the grand jury hearing will be on the 9th or 10th IIRC. So probably a couple of days after the hearing.

You should be safe this weekend. At least as safe as normal.

Now there is a grand jury scheduled for here for next Tuesday. The special prosecutor in the case, Angela Corrie has three options here: She can present charges to the grand jury; she could decide to file charges herself; or there could be no charges filed at all.

"Sanford is still a good little town," said Jimbo Carter of McRoberts Auto Center. Carter has been working at the auto center in Sanford for 30 years and he said the outcome of the decision could hurt the town.

I'd understand it if this was South Georgia and they found a guy named "Jimbo" to interview (complete with Nattie Light in hand), but I can't help but go "oh yeah, they interviewed someone named "Jimbo" for a reason. I guess the local GrandDragon was unavailable for comments....

It dosn't look like there is any link yet to what is happening down in Florida but this can't help our already hot racial tensions across our country. If it is found out to be a white shooter..things will get interesting.

My thing is whats good for the goose is good for the gander. Im not for a racial fight out here but with the people they keep getting speaking out agianst anybody that is not black and the black panthers running around thinking the are "The Man". It was bound to happen, Im waiting for some of the latino clubs to roll up in here to put there presence out there as for watching there own. As this goes forward both sides want to be right, and nobody wants to say they were wrong. If the evidence doesnt work for them they are going to try and make it fit for what they want and see. They(guys like sharpton and jackson) want this tried in the media not the courts, it gives those with hidden agendas some ground to play with.
