I am an avid reader and like to pass on great books...I recently came across a new book by Seth Godin, who is the author of Linchpin which is another book I highly recommend, this new book is a FREE PDF "Stop Stealing Dreams (what is school for?)"
Dedicated to every teacher who cares enough to change the system, and to every
student brave enough to stand up and speak up.

He not only talks about how our school system came to be nor how bad it is but he talks about the real questions we need to be asking our schools/teachers/administrators/elected officials. He also gives some great reference links to all kinds of FREE Education like MIT.
I posted the link to MIT's FREE classes on here before.
We can all sit around and complain about the system and prepare for the collapse of it but what are we doing to make it better. Are we educating ourselves to ask the tough questions to spread ideas like this one and are we talking loud enough about this to be heard by our neighbors, friends, and family? So you can't/won't talk about prepping, fine, will you talk about a positive change for our school systems? Everyone agrees that they system is broken, but yet we aren't making the changes that are necessary and are required by our Economy and the Internet. The internet has changed the game so we too must change. Share this with everyone you now and challenge them. Lets start asking better questions.
