Sounds like some kind of intimidation. Perhaps they saw something someone would kill them for seeing. Preppers don't disappear like that. They'd tell their family they're moving and not to worry. Preppers do not leave their supply of food if another choicer is available. People who just disappear are not usually up to date on their bills. Someone is threatening them.Comment

I've been thinking about this a bit more. What is a "sizable amount" to the police, might only be a few things to a prepper. lol
MB, I find the not telling family very strange also. But, not everyone is as close to their families. I dunno. It is a strange deal for sure.Comment

I have thought of this myself, and respect there privacy. It is stated that they ran a successful cleaning business, so they very well could have witnessed something that puts them and there young child in danger.Originally posted by monkeybird View PostComment

Still trying to figure out why this was "NEWS" worthy? God I would love to be able to disappear for a month at a time, and I would be PISSED OFF is the government broke into my house to find out if I was OK. Maybe I plant my crop on the sunnier side of the fence then News people?Comment
