While watching dooms day preppers, my daughter looks at me out of the corner of her eye. She tilts her head and says " Wait so your a prepper? Because you do some stuff like that." I don't know how I feel about the comparison.

Explain the difference and how you are better than them or maybe not as over the top. The general message is there on tv and I bash them hard but just let her know the "whys" of what you do.

I don't enjoy being compared to the idiots on TV. I saw the latest on Discovery about Bunkers and the guys who build them. I know the guy who builds them and this show is obviously a commercial for his business and has very little to do with real prepping. Makes me very sad to see how we are being portrayed or should I say BETRAYED. GB
