she has every right to do what she did. If this gets alot of publicity this could increase attacks against coalition forces in Afghanistan. Actions like this kind of piss me off actually, yea cool shes defacing a book which i personally think is a pos but shes not gonna be taking the same risks as american soldiers down range will. alot of these fighters in afghanistan don't do this a 100% of their time, its more like oh i've got some free time today and a taliban or what ever commander is in the area i might as well take a few pot shots at the americans and make some money or i'm kind of busy today i've got to take my herd of goats up into the mountain to feed them maybe some other time. the more pissed off we make the locals the more insentive they have to attack american forces. then there are the afghan army guys, some of these guys work for the taliban mostly passing information but if they hear about this and they're like screw it they messed with the koran again im gonna open up on the americans that live on the same base as me. I guess the point im trying to make is yea its a stupid book but its pretty selfish to do something like this and publize it if you aren't in the suck with the rest of the guys.

From my point of view, we have no business in that part of the world trying to establish "democracy" among uneducated mooseslimes who want a theocracy headed by a satanic ayatollah or imam issuing insane fatwahs to gullible inbred pedophillic fools.

I understand where you are coming from as I've been a few places too and been in direct protest retaliation but this was done a while back and is just one of a hundred like it and isnt the reason stuff happened there especially recently. What you are suffering from is all locally inflicted. They make just as many youtube videos as we do burning bibles and flags and shooting/blowing up our troops

I disagree, this woman is not selfish.

She is trying to open people's eyes to what this psuedo religion is about. Being fearful of what a muslim will do will only be seen as weakness by them.

let me put it into my point of view. someone burns a koran then an afghan soldier kills a bunch of american soldiers then attacks on fobs, msrs, and patrol routes pick up. all of this happens while this person is safe in america giving lectures and posting videos of them messing with korans. if you want to do this fine, thats your right but it is selfish if you endanger other people through your actions. if you want to talk about weakness then i'd point to the way we're fighting this war right now which is pathetic. i don't have a problem getting hajis angry at us if its for a reason that gives of us sort or gain. she burned and messed with a koran ok, what did it do to help us win this war? nothing. could it put more american lives in danger? yea maybe.

if this was a video of american soldiers going into a pakistani village and killing some bag guys then i'd be cool with it even though that would anger the muslims and pak mil alot. if it was a video of us dropping a five hundred pound bomb on a house of a HVT even though it would anger them i'd be cool with it. btw none of these things we can do anymore, we have to get 3 stars general approve to hit a house with arty or cca or cas even if we are receiving effective fire from it and can't destroy the threat with our weapons on hand. what im trying to say is her video was a unnesssary risk to other peoples lives so thats why this is selfish.

on a person note maybe im just upset because i've got to do something later today thats a stupid risk for us but the way you worded that last message kind of made me think you were hinting that i was also weak. i've been deployed as an infantry man to iraq twice and am on my third deployment to afghanistan now. i've been on over 700 combat patrols in my military career and dozens of major operations. vehicles i have been riding in have been struck by ieds on three different occasions and i've recieved contact with the enemy at least over 50 times. i've never tried to get out of a patrol or mission that was especially stupid or dangerous.

Nakattack no one is questioning you or your strength and we all appreciate your service and we wish you all could get home ASAP. You have very valid points however no American is going to sit quietly by, wringing their hands, hoping they dont make haji, skinny, claus, croats or anyone else mad so they dont shoot at Americans today while they continue their rants and tiraids along with openly hostile actions openly here in our country and beyond. They are running their heads and so are we both using the same freedom of speech rights. Just the way it is. Along with this we are all fighting sharia law here while you are gone in which judges are allowing women to be beat and raped by their husbands because it their religious right which happened in NJ. There are several other crimes being committed across this great Nation in the name of religion that judges are ruling pro muslim and anti 8th rights. In fact my State voted not allow this which enraged many of them and has caused many issues both physcially and legally. It's a war on ALL fronts not just where you are. Trust no one, keep your head on a swivel, do what is needed and get back. I didnt pull 20 so haji can run his head in MY country while everyone else has to be quite so they dont get mad. In their necks sideways, hope they are mad.
Like I said the issues you have been facing are locally caused, not from here, them mudhuts aint watching youtube, it's word of mouth.
