  • FOX news article: Bunker Mentality

    Considering all of the new shows people are seeing regarding preparedness, we are also seeing more articles in the mainstream media regarding preparedness. Here is one from FOX news just today: http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/03/07...ness-doomsday/

    People are definitely waking up and realizing that not everything is okay in today's World. It is interesting to read how some people going about being prepared.

    I just wanted to add a quote from the article: "Vicino founded his company three years ago, setting up two such subterranean cities using shelters originally built during the height of the cold war. The two large, multi-story shelters, located in Indiana and Nebraska, can house hundreds of people and include medical facilities, gyms and common areas for meals and social activities. The shelters are set up much like a time share, with a $50,000 fee buying “part ownership” in the facility."

    I am not savvy enough to change the color of the underlined text above, but this is definitely not something I would do if I had the money. The last thing I want to do is set up house with a bunch of people I don't know. As has already been discussed on this forum, that is a recipe for disaster.

    "Do not fear, for I am with you;
    Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
    I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,
    Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10

    Interesting, Not something I would want to do either.
    Survival question. What do I need most, right now?

      This will happen when people that dont know each other live in a bunker....they will take themselves out
      You know what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like this?

        I was amused by that too.... In a typical time-share, your part is a "period of time" at the resort condo or what ever... So what would happen here in a SHTF situation?? After your two weeks are up, they kick you out into the "dead zone"??
