  • EMP garbage can shield

Read an article about using a garbage can as an EMP container. Assuming it works, what would you put in it?

Wow, you are hard core man! you'd put a poor harmless kitty cat in a garbage can? :p

You put a caged cat in there and someone opens it and comes flying out to there face. I call that cheap security.

If its just a metal enclosure, how about a gun safe?

My take on it is that it has to be enclosed, sealed and that the parts can not touch the metal itself. I said this before and really dont know if i'm right but its similar to a radio wave so i put my cell phone in and see of i can call it or use a set of radios with one in the enclosure. If you can get a signal it's not gonna work. Dunno, truth is i dont have my stuff in anything like that because i use what i have so I'll be hit I guess
