  • Green Deane foraging class

Was invited to one of his foraging (edible plant, weeds, etc. ) classes tomorrow at Mead Gardens in Winter Park. Has anyone taken his class and is it worth the $30.00? Yeah, I could learn from a book but I like hands on as well. If anyone has been to one or several of his classes I would like your take on it. I was just invited last night so sorry about the short notice.
    Thanks:cool:

Definitely worth the small investment. We went to one in Jax a few years back. We brought him to one of the Ocala campouts- last year also.

I need to go about six more times...

BTW, tell him to join the forums here and we'll let him plug his classes.
Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"

Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"

Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"

i've been to 2 of his classes. the one in winter park and another at another location. my advice is bring a camera that can record voice notes too and a notepad.

greene dean is a walking encyclopedia of plants. you'll get your $20 worth in about 20 minutes into the class. he's worth every penny and more.

Great class. I will never look at my yard the same again, and forget the weed killer manacured lawns. I had a lot of those goodies growing in on or near my yard.
Well worth the cost of admission. I will be going to his Ocala class at the end of March.
1Admin I gave him the message and he asked me to e-mail him the website and contact. I was within earshot os an herbalist from Tampa and two others so I was trying to keep it on the DL and think he might have been as well.
Think I will be planting some trees and herbs in the yard soon as well. Never thought I would be looking forward to weeds in the yard LOL
