A new take on the frog story.

A friend told me today about one that you might find interesting. It seems there was a frog in a pan of water. There was also a thermometer in the water. As it swam around, the frog would occasionally look at the thermometer. As it watched the temperature go up, it would confidently tell itself, "The temperature is going to start dropping any minute now."

Is there a moral in there somewhere?
