Root Cause of Our Problems?

A big part of this sort of thing is recognizing when someone has bad intentions. Often times too many of us are willing to compromise to avoid a fight or even the appearance of a disagreement.

Someone attempted to hack the forums repeatedly last night after nice old misguided Cindy went off to liberal utopia.... The last time this happened was after G-nkid found the forums here and went through several different nics in a short period of time. In other words, we don't see a lot of people trying to hack the forums here.

I don't believe in coincidences.

May I add:

Was it not taught to us in Sunday school to teach a man to fish is the goal, rather than to just give him a fish? This is contradictory to the whole welfare program, which is nothing more than political enslavement. AND IT WORKS, see the people freaking out on any news channel when they talk about dropping or lowering their government benefits.

NOTE: only one channel even mentioned this, and even then only once, current Congress wants to JACK up the price of veterans healthcare because it is not fair that we pay so little and others pay so much---um last time I checked "the others" didnt put their LIFE ON THE LINE for 20+ years for such low pay that most families in the paygrade of E-4 and below are entitled food stamps in most states-just saying...

Also, quite shocked that she did not mention about re-electing Hussein, as it was clear that she is a full blown liberal. Hussein has held/maintained every strategic timeline that was established by Bush, but yet Hussein takes the credit for it. Go figure.

I read though this thread about four hours ago and I've been sat thinking ever since, like a doors opened in my mind and suddenly things started to make a lot more sense. It wasn't that I got answers, but realized I'd had them all along staring me in the face...wow

I'm not a very religious person, not saying i don't believe in god because in my profession i have prayed pretty hard at some times but the decline of religion isn't the main reason for the problems in our culture/society today. I think its the whole what can the world do for me attitude of today. people don't hold themselve accountable for their own actions, work hard, and expect the world to be handed to them. we glorify celebriteis as heros even if those celebrities are morons, drug addicts, or just spoiled rich brats. people expect politicians to fix their own problems while they collect welfare checks.

my team leader in iraq said something to me that rang pretty true in my mind and says alot about todays culture and how backwords it is. we were about to go into a pretty bad area of baghdad in 06 during the whole ****e vs sunni civil war when efp ieds were everywhere and could turn our up armored hmmwvs into scrap metal and pink mist the whole crew. " hey nak, how does it make you feel that the whole platoon could be killed today but if britney spears or paris hilton has a sex tape that leaks the only thing you'll see on the news is that?" he was right too, in a time of war people are more worried about american idol then the american soldier. no one longer cares about anything besides their own gratification, thats what i think is one of the root causes of the america being so messed up. why get a job i don't like a job, so i'll just collect welfare or unemployment so i can sit on my couch and watch some new tv series.

of course this is just my opion and im jsut a stupid knuckle dragging grunt.
