Never has it been easier for ANY government to control it's citizens. We've surpassed 1984. -
American wealth, to the tune of over a Trillion Dollars has disappeared due to industrial espionage, intellectual property theft, counterfeit goods and fraud. We are bleeding to death, and this is causing a good part of our national financial decline.
That said, SOPA is an example of legislation written by lobbyists, and pushed by 'bought' Congressmen and Senators. It is rife with 'unintended consequences', stupidity and one sided, draconian measures.
Something HAS to be done to protect American intellectual property, but SOPA is not the answer.Comment
