i believe that is illegal search...same thing for using the infrared guns on houses to see if they are growing marijuana.

i seem to remember having a discussion in high school once about: safety vs privacy

Basically how much privacy are you willing to give up to be safe.....my thought is let me take care of my safety and you won't invade my privacy.

I was thinking the same thing....i think if they got enough false positives that they would abandon it...that is unitl they got the "Total Recall" body scanner, I wonder if you could trick it?

Here's a piece that I read today on it and TPTB aren't mentioning anything about it.

"Studies reveal that THz waves “unzip double-stranded DNA, creating bubbles in the double strand that could significantly interfere with processes such as gene expression and DNA replication,” according to MIT’s Technology Review."
What a long, strange trip it's been.....

So this means I can buy those X-ray glasses that were on the inside back cover of The Uncanny X-men, and they will work!?!??!

Let's face it, this is one more step in the destruction of personal liberty.

...so, they hit you with that crap, then you sue them for reckless endangerment, attempted murder of an unfertilized zygote, aggravated assault and illegal search and seizure...

I'm sure at least one lawyer would be game for that :)
