William Durant said kinda the same thing
"A Great Civilization Is Not Conquered from without until It Destroys Itself from Within."

We are falling short of Abe's 1000 years

Since Abe was one of the first to take action against the States of the Union, he ought to have known.

      Damned traitor...

It's unfortunate you actually think Abraham Lincoln was a traitor!!!! He was probably one of the greatest presidents and human beings that ever lived. Just so you know, Lincoln's position was the the union could not be divided. He fought the Civil War to preserve the Union.

"A house divided against itself, cannot stand." Below is a link to Lincoln's entire speech. It's worth the time it takes to read it.

The original 'house divided' was spoken by Jesus. Mark 3:25 King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.)
"And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand."

I don't know how the U.S. could be anymore divided than it is today. The question is - how long before it falls?

I question will it fall (if it does no man will be free ever again) or will it be torn apart and then rebuilt to its original glory but stronger.
