I wonder if this means that people will have to stop saying the Lord's name in vain as well. Christianity is attacked way more than any other religion in this country just look at how the media attacks Christians.

It in fact is in direct alignment with the the 1st Amendment.

not sure i follow how this UN thing is in direct alignment with the first amendment...can you clarify or did I miss something?

On a side note no other religion has its God & Saviors' name used in vain....you don't hear People saying "Buddha Da#@!!" or anything. Just thought of that on the way home from work yesterday.

When you read it (the real document), it's is a agreement stating that the agreeing nations will combat Intolerance, Discrimination, and Violence Based on Religion or Belief. All Religions. While it was drafted by a Muslim group that I do not like they made it sound very close to the 1st which is one of the reasons it was supported. The truth is it carrys no weight anywhere. It certainly did not read the way the it was posted by these articles and e-mails of people who are claiming to spread the "truth" as Christians.
