As far as i can tell, yes. From the DHS website:
"Operation Shield systematically measures the effectiveness of FPS countermeasures. This includes the effectiveness of FPS’ Protective Security Officers in detecting the presence of unauthorized persons and potentially disruptive or dangerous activities.
Operation Shield is a comprehensive operation that combines physical security expertise and law enforcement authority into an enhanced security team to provide a visual deterrent at FPS-protected facilities. The goal of Operation Shield is to demonstrate the preparedness and agility of FPS’ response to the current threat environment within our federal community."
Here's the link to that page, established May 12, 2010.

The DHS is no longer protecting the Homeland, it's subverting the Constitution. Every new regulation or program coming out of DHS in the past 3 years, is simply a way of controlling the American people. While 99% of the time I find InfoWars nothing by hype, but in this particular case, sound like Alex is right.
Send me a Tin Foil Hat, because I truly see this as part of a contingency plan of the U.S. Government to stop law abiding citizens for exercising their rights.

No offense, but no one should be surprised by this or expect any different. When you vote in Bush and then Obama (I know that most here didn't vote for Obama) and then talk about voting in another candidate who supports the patriot act (Romney, Gingrich, Santorum, Huntsman, Bachman... Any one conspicuously not on this list??? Hmm...) you don't have much room to talk. No offense, of course. (I should state that I am as guilty as everyone else... I voted for Bush. I thought I was educated, "conservative" I thought I was right! I mean, I was voting against those evil liberals!... But like most, I didn't understand the principles of liberty. And I doubt that most here even understand them either! You have to dilligently seek understanding in this area, because it probably wasn't taught to you.
Xdpatriot is right, incrementalism is obviously taking place here.

Death by a thousand cuts. It's going to continue, and to get worse. Sadly, it probably isn't going to change. This country has outlived it's life expectancy already, because most similar forms of government only go for about 200 years. When you leave home from now on, be prepared to show your papers.
