How cool is this? Kinda reminds me of the house from that Mountain Home story by one of our fellow forum guys.



I wonder how many houses like this are out there and ............how many are owned by preppers?

Now I'm mad. How did get that much info about my place? Haa haaa. That is pretty nice. Nice looking scenery topside as well. I would bet there are a good bit of places out there, that are set up really nice. It makes me feel a lot better when I think of that.

and the down side is that there looks to be one way in and one way out, a perfect house with a perfect trap.people with the money to maintain that place should spend a few more bucks and put a consealed escape hatch a hundred yds away.

Sweet concept. A question that comes to mind is. With the plumbing being so low underground they would have to have a pump to move the "poo water" up to the septic tank. I wonder if they have a way of doing that if there is no power?

Does anyone have and info on how tuff the steel door is ?...After a second look I see that the bars and concave form of the door helps to negate the use of drills to poke a hole into the door and blow in a couple of gallons of gasoline and O2.

I've never "got it" about missile silos as retreat. Stupid concept IMO.

Depending on some old skewl untrusting Russian intel analyst taking your retreat off of a targeting list???
