Nice day here in Northern Oklahoma. Raining man we need it. Wife is startig to come around she is about to break down and let me get a generator.Im think about a solar generator. Any advice out there?
Thanks.
If you are talking about solar panels and all that goes with it then you are talking heavy duty dollars. A simple 5000 kw up to 7000 kw generator will run you under a $1000. If you choose to put an interface with your electric panel to power up some circuits in your house you need to have an electrician out to set that up. Remember with gasoline powered generators you need to run them and then let them cool down. You cannot run them for long periods with a cool down time or you will burn them up. the better the quality the higher the price. GB
Isn't the solar generator the overpriced setup some guy is selling on the shopping network?
It has 1 or 2 solar panels, attached to a wagon, and inside the wagon is the inverter and batteries.
The idea is you let it sit in your lawn all day to charge and wheel it in at night to run your lights.
If I am thinking of the same thing you are talking about.
