When they're citing Alex Jones and Jesse Ventura as sources, you know it's serious business.

First remember we (the US government) used "Camps" in the past, in WWII we put the Japanese in "Internment camps". At that point they used Race or Nationality to divide us... Next time we get divided it will be over "Mind Set".

I know that these "Camps" have been funded through bills that were passed years ago...
Did the camps actually get built? I don't have time to track that down, but if they did not get built where did the money go? Either way we need to ask questions.

If they existed the government would want to set up "Straw Men" that you could then publicly humiliate so that the population says "oh those don't exist".

Did you ever see the job posting for the "Private Contractors" (mercenaries) in Iraq?... I know I did NOT see them but I know they are there. Has a directive gone out to get the "Private Contractors" to start "manning" the camps? I do not know but I doubt you will see it listed in the local HELP WANTED section, they want a very specific set of skills for them just like most of the mercenaries they are hand picked for a skill set and willingness to follow orders without question.

If you wanted to detain Americans you would not use Americans to do it. Instead you would use say "UN" troops or Mercenaries.

Is it B.S.? I have no idea. But does it really matter, they have the willingness to fund them, to me they have the willingness to use them.

While I read this with a degree of skepticism, I think there is something beneath the smoke. Back in the 60's there was a rumor that the Government has a secret underground shelter where the rich and powerful could live for up to 5 years in case of a nuclear attack. While that was continually 'debunked' by the news media, in 1990 (something) the government finally released information about this facility allowing TV cameras to tour it. It was the famous Green Brier Resort which hid the hugh underground facility.

FEMA camps have long been 'debunked'. However, I believe the Government must have a contingency plan for civil unrest. Regardless of what it's called, IMHO such places do exist.

All of the listed services would be needed to put together emergency housing in the event of a natural disaster. More likely they are putting resourses together to respond to a tornado outbreak,a hurricane, or a wildfire that some George Orwell nightmare camp.FEMA has legitimate reasons to have those services on standby

Should one of the "legitimate" reasons hit... You feel free to go those camps.

Ask the people at the Superdome after Katrina, how well those camps work...

                #2. Violent Crime
                #3. Sexual Assult
#4. Death from Dehydration and Neglicate

Feel Free to think FEMA is there to help... Remember Government (any government in history) has done very little for the people but instead they usually are doing things to the people. The government has funded the camps and then tried to hide the fact that they funded them that says alot about the nature of the camps. If they were truely for your/our own good they would not go through so much trouble saying they dont exist... Or am I wearing a Foil Hat?

Remember the Jews were told at first, that they were being rounded up off the street for their own protection. They were going to be taken to a camp where they would be safe... No longer would they have to worry about getting "Stoned" in the street while going to buy bread. Rounding up the Jews was step 2! Step one was to build the camps.

Do you really think Hilter came out and told the Germans that they needed to build these camps so that they could round up the Jews? No not at first!

I know a retired Police Det. from St. Charles County Missouri that is currently in the sandbox getting paid $200K, he is ex-swat. Don't know how he got hooked up with it but I don't think he responded to an add in the St. Louis Post Dispatch...just my 2 cents on that.

Do I think that our Government could have plans in place, yes. Do I think that there are parties within our government that are planning to inter US Citizens based on "mind set" or some other factor, yes. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

I am a Christian that believes the back of the book and I would be surprised if we aren't in the last days...I could be wrong because only one knows the hour and day. The continued infringement of our personal freedoms makes me very concerned.

"Most" mercinaries (Private Contractors) are Approached, they have a military history with MOS's that are desired. Others are enterprenural enough to start their own contractor business's and go after fellow teammates, friends, etc. from when they served... its in their blood to do what they do untill that wee little thing called age hits ya, not to mention injuries. There is also a network, mostly word of mouth as well. Several of my friends are in Afganistan doing tours right now doing this.
And if you search the interweb enough you will find "help wanted adds" for this field of work as well.

AS for the camps, I call BS, JMHO

Like you, I believe the gooberment has a contengency plan, but I'll have to respectfully disagree with you on the bunker at The Green Brier. It was not built for the merely rich and powerful, but was built and maintained for the rich and powerful US Congress.

From that ultra reliable source that is Wikipedia:

                        The Bunker

In the late 1950s, the U.S. government approached The Greenbrier for assistance in creating a secret emergency relocation center to house Congress in the aftermath of a nuclear holocaust. The classified, underground facility, named "Project Greek Island",[14] was built at the same time as the West Virginia Wing, an above-ground addition to the hotel, from 1959 to 1962.

Although the bunker was kept stocked with supplies for 30 years, it was never actually used as an emergency location, even during the Cuban Missile Crisis. The bunker's existence was not acknowledged until Ted Gup of the The Washington Post revealed it in a 1992 story; immediately after the Post story, the government decommissioned the bunker. The facility has since been renovated and is also used as a data storage facility for the private sector. It is once again featured as an attraction in which visitors can tour the now declassified facilities, now known as The Bunker.
