    You know, my grandparents raised 12 children and never accepted welfare. They could have more than qualified, their home wasn't much more than a shack - they had water in the kitchen (different building from the bedrooms and living room), but no indoor toilet, but my grandpa was far too proud to accept handouts. What happened to the pride that people used to have?

        I REALLY want to say that I'm shocked, but honestly, I'm not. This is just par for the course. This sense of entitlement and lack of personal responsability seems to be the attitude of many folks today.
