  • Have we reached the tipping point?

During Thanksgiving break, while I was in TN without much internet, I was able to put some thoughts together....

Have we reached the tipping point?

I feel the next 15 months will be a decisive time in America
Protecting the sheep from the wolves that want them, their family, their money and full control of our Country!

Guns and gear are cool, but bandages stop the bleeding!

ATTENTION: No trees or animals were harmed in any way in the sending of this message, but a large number of electrons were really ticked off!

    NO 10-289!

All good points. Things are not good and with the debt at such staggering numbers, any hopes of returning to the days of prosperity are slim to none. Throw in that there are 2 carrier task groups facing off in the waters off Syria and the trigger gets even closer. There are so many variables within and without, that all we can do is stay aware and continue preparing for whatever the future may bring.
What a long, strange trip it's been.....

#2 Sealed the deal for me. It was a rude awakening when I fully grasped the reality of the debt situation. It is mathematically impossible to pay it off! Soon, it will be impossible to pay the interest. What happens when nobody shows up to buy our T bills, this happened in Germany during the last week.

The entitlement people (majority) will continue to vote for the handouts.

The Russian carrier and destroyers sitting off the coast of Syria, along with the US 6th fleet permanently stationed in the Mediterranean, is like a clock ticking.

Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Israel...... the whole world is "fragile" right now. Not to mention the Euro crisis.

Add it all up, and my oh my... "we sure do live in interesting times"

We have TWO carrier groups near Syria now? That's not good.
Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"

Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"

Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"

The USS G.W. Bush and the 6th Fleet. I'm not sure how many, or what kind of ships are in the 6th Fleet?

I got da beans if you got da rice!

Not a good world right now, just thankful that right now is right now and not the PAW.

We just gotta keep the faith and keep trucking towards our personal goals. One way or the other, we will MAKE IT!

Very sobering post Patriotic, and the sad thing is I cannot find anything in your post that I disagree with. The Worldwide situation has become a powder keg, the question is what is going to end up lighting the fuse?

Wiseowl, I agree with you, we need to just keep plugging way with our plans and most of all maintain our faith in God.

Patriotic, your post is well thought out and well written. Obviously you put a lot of thought into your conclusions and I agree 100%. Sometimes it helps to read post like yours, because it brings clarity to the thoughts of most of us.

I believe Pakistan needs to be mentioned, they are a Nuclear power and we keep venturing over their boarder chasing "terrorist". According to international law we (the US Military) are committing acts war every time we (the US Military) cross that boarder with out the approval of Pakistan. Just recently there were very vocal anti-American protests in Pakistan over the repeated drone attacks (acts of war).

When a bully keeps picking on a victim eventually that victim punches back no mater how helpless that victim appears or how hopeless winning a direct conflict may seem they eventually will fight back. So we are picking a fight with a nuclear power, we are in the wrong and the outside world will back the country in the right (most likely). I fear that we are getting ready to become the "Germany" of World War III, and we (the US Government) are doing it to ourselves (the people).

Sooner or later they will get upset enough with our repeated trespass and who knows what their response will be... But no mater what it is, it most likely lead to a very bad chain of events.

I would guess it will be some sort of Asymmetrical Warfare (maybe EMP) and maybe even leading to some sort of an alliance with any number of our now very numerous enemies.

A wise man said there is only one problem having elected representative officials, that is that they are elected.

With regards to Henry Reid, can you say union power? Uggghhh, that just frustrates the heck out of me.
