Alone in the Wilderness

I watched this documentary the other night on Ga Public Broadcasting and it was AWESOME! This guy had a plan and made it happen. Probably one of the better " go into the wild and live" stories I have heard. To see his ingenuity and creativity added to his skill set was amazing. I actually downloaded it and watch it again with my wife. I wish I had one ounce of his woodworking skills.........
I always tell my wife if we ever buy some land I want to build my workshop like this. I guess you can learn a lot from him especially on the craft. Having those tools and files in a grid down scenario you could literally build anything if you put your mind to it.

I too have been motivated by that film. To see what one man (albeit often resupplied) can survive off of alone up there is amazing.
