Most definitely a spiritual battle.
One reason communism never worked and will never work. "Some animals are more equal than others."
Their are always going to be better conditions at the top of the pyramid. Whether it's under capitalism or socialism.
That's exactly my thoughts about socialism."It sounds good, but it's fantasy."
And let's be perfectly frank here- if people were stupid enough to sign agreements they didn't READ let alone UNDERSTAND (and I watched a "friend" sign 11 pages of a mortgage agreement without reading a damn word of it), they have NOTHING to complain about. You can't get much more stupid than that.
No one pulled a "Luca Bratze" (sp?) on them and put a gun to their head and made them sign on an ARM. No one "made them an offer they couldn't refuse" on their credit cards.
As I've said before, during the "7 years of plenty" most Americans ate DOUBLE portions of grain instead of putting some back for the upcoming "7 years of famine." Now they are hungry and blaming everyone but themselves.
Looking back, I praise the Lord that we starved (financially) the first couple years after we moved. This made me put concrete changes in place and to recognize that good financial times are often followed by tough financial times. I praise Him that He gave us foresight to build a small house for cash instead of buying a huge gas guzzling Mommy Bus SUV. I praise Him that I used some of the intelligence He gave me to act on my own.
The "7 years of famine" are here and everyone is trying to blame someone else for the extra grain they ate during the good years.Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"
Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"
Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"
