I just mentioned on another thread on this forum that we are a Republic!! Thanks for reaffirming that 1Admin. You are spot on!!

I think Glenn Beck did a show where he illustrated communism and the nazis on the political spectrum...basically they are 2 sides of the same coin in my mind.

Yes, this country was formed as a Constitutional Republic, but I am disappointed to say that we have not been able to keep it. We have dissolved from a republic, to a democracy, and I'm not sure what I am looking at today- socialism, fascism? Basically we are on the path to communism. We were not beaten on the battlefield, or even by the Cold War race, but in our public school systems and colleges.

The occupy protests seem to be getting hijacked, just like what happened to the Tea Party. I have yet to hear 2 OWS members concur on why they are protesting. Now it is turning into a 1st Amendment rights case with all the arrests of the protesters. OWS was never about constitutional rights, but about "we are entitled people."

The OWS protests are playing right into Obama's/progressive's hands. They want European Socialism which to me is a cross between fascism and socialism.

This appears as it has been planned out right from the beginning.

OWS is not a grass roots organization of people excersizing their First Amendment rights, but is comprised of enemies of the American way of life, and people they have deceived.
The current administration's support of OWS is very telling, and hopefully will back fire on Obama. But, given the mainstream media obsession with leftism in general, and Obama in particular, it's going to be hard to get the truth out to the average American.

why do i have to get in bed with him to see the point he was making. the 2nd = the 1st ammendment. there seems to be 2 topics in this thread. i thought blowmax was trying to show the connection between the 1st and 2nd ammendments and the OWS just happened to be in the background. yhey are 1 and 2 for a reason. i never make anyone guess where i stand so for the record i'm a devout prolife conservative libertarian and have the lumps to prove it. so i don't like or respect anything about the left or OWS or the OBAMINATION that sits where it aught not. jackboots don't need to be in riot gear to try to intimidate. he was exercising his rights for the benefit of himself and anyone else there even if he didn't like them. the guy who was stopped for his papers is not the only one nowadays. in the 90's clinton sicced the irs on many of us in the 2nd am movement. we were called nazi's
extremests, racists and threats to the nation. they had the montana militia pegged as extreme danger. the msm never mentioned it only had 3 members andf wanted to stay that way. the pres was one of the nicest guys you''ll meet but not according to msm. SPLC should not even show up on a credebility scale.
now as for OWS, i spend lots of time volenteering at shelters etc. and our occupy missoula was just riff raff from shelters and welfare lefties talking about democracy and other misinformation and agree that its part of the new move to communism someone else mentioned and supported by the OBAMINATION. AND YES I MEANT TO SPELL IT LIKE THAT. so there is my take on it.
