For myself I would like to go back and get my certification in Solar Energy design and installation. My son in law wants to do this as well.

I would also like to get my HAM licence.

If I could take the time and the grind I would love to work on EMT training. that is a real long shot for that one. that is not a whim type of course.

I do plan on working with my buddy the gunsmith to do some welding.

I am not great at anything but good at some things. I have worked many jobs since I was about 12 and was always a helper/gopher but I always pay attention.

          Landscapes
          Hardscapes
          Plumbing
          Irrigation
          Framing
          Roofing
          Tractor and Bush Hog
          Gas Engine Work
          2 and 4 stroke engine
          Carpentry
          Cement
          Cooking
          Welding
          Consulting

Things that I am better than decent at:

          Gardening/Growing things
          Sales/Bartering/ Dealing
          Backpacking/ Woods skills
Gas Engine Diagnostics (I ran an auto shop for 2 years, just paid people to do the work)
          Hand to hand
          Critical/ Common Sense/Rational Thinker
          Management
Play Guitar (Insert whammy bar pull)
I love to chop wood ( Check my barter thread post and choppin a tree down in the morning)
Teach people how to do things very easily
Comedy ( I can make even the biggest arsehole crack a smile)
Common Bushcraft (Country boys are born with this)
My biggest skill is Listening. I am a great listener at a task. I am the type that you can show me anything and within 2 weeks, its like I have been doing it for 2 years.
I also follow directions and work hard. I know that would be a "want" in a group in a SHTF sitch-I-ation

          I want to learn:

Hunting/ Cleaning/ Tracking ( I have tracked animals, just havent killed them on the trek)
Better with shooting and gun work (i.e fixing and repairing, diagnosing. I would shoot more than I do but I cant afford it right now)
Any medical. (I know old school grandma remedies and have been using them my whole life)
Military Tactics ( Reading SF manuals and watching TV can only do so much, I believe in mental reps but need the physical)
          Diesel Engine
Electricity ( The only thing I know how to do is pay the bill)
I want to increase my strength (just got me some new(used) weights to play with)
Martial Arts (Grew up in it, mother is a 3rd degree black belt but didn't take it to the level I want to)

But the one skill that I have always had and will never lose is the WILL TO LIVE and SURVIVE! I haven't been in TEOTWAWKI type of situations but I have made it through some real crap in my 29 years. I have dodged bullets, death and just being down right drug to the bottom of the barrel. I guess you could say I am RESILIENT!

              Things to learn:

              Distilling
              Blacksmithing
              Welding
Basically, if you can fix something, you will be set in a SHTF scenario. Things will break down and people will come to depend on your skills and trade with you.
