Local strip malls will turn into miniature ghost towns and community life will whither away as people bunker themselves in their homes waiting for the government or Wall Street to rescue them. Unfortunately for them, that rescue won't be coming."

one man's disaster is another man's opportunity.
looks like they will be needing to learn other ways and barter for other stuff. learning to think outside their personal boxes.
my better half aways used to say when the SHTF i would be running the 'new' tech school and teaching in it.....my price is one live chicken per skill, but will negotiate for other 'stuff'. (unfortunately most have no 'stuff' i want)
