I watched the Nature (PBS) program on wolves in the Chernobyl exclusion zone last night. It was very intresting in that it showed what has happened in the 25 years since the accident. Very intresting. The wolf part was kinda weak but the rest of the program was worth watching.

basically since the accident there is an 1100 square mile exclusion zone, with very limited access. So there has been a huge increase in wildlife of all kinds. such as bison, moose, wild horses, etc. They were very short on actual science, but they know that the area is very radioactive but some small rodents have a small mutation rate. They figured that there are about 150 wolves in the area. One of the take-aways is that everyone is amazed at how quick the houses and such are detoriating and how soon nature is reclaiming the land.Survival question. What do I need most, right now?
