Someone please educate me! I thought Ashville was this beautiful place of hard working God fearing folks. Now I hear that just like Key West, the extreme liberals have taken over! Say it ain't so!!

I am afraid it is so. We have been living here since 1977 and it's changed for the worse. Lot of good people still here, but the liberals have moved in and taken over. I don't go downtown after dark due to the "freaks" being out and the city government is ultra-liberal with the mayor a Bloomberg wannabe. Enjoy your stay and have fun, just be aware of your surroundings. Now, if you are staying outside the city you will be fine, not as many idiots there. The leaves are starting to turn and the drive on the Parkway should be fun.

I couldn't believe it when i saw all those people chanting 4 more years then i saw it was in Asheville and i knew it was true.

We went up there last year just to check the city out. It is an awesome city. The downtown district reminded us of the "revitalized" downtown Decatur in Atlanta..nice bars, and restaurants and shops....we even went to a farmers market in a small parking lot and they had some strains I have never seen before. But..............I could see where when these people open their mouths that good vibe goes away. We are going up in 3 weeks for a wedding there and it should be nice. Until yall started saying stuff, I never realized the city was such a haven for libtard moonbats
