Hey if anyone is in Arizona I just reserved a tour of a Titan II missile silo that is open to the public on November 18th. Should be a blast no pun intended. my friends and I are taking the full top to bottom 5hour guided tour. It is expensive at $70.00 a person but it still has the Titan Missile in the silo minus the warhead of course. However I am starting on my third book and will be touring to describe the silo accurately in the book. Here in Arizona the Titan Missile Museum is the only publicly accessible Titan II missile site in the nation. Tour the underground missile site. See the 3-ton blast doors, the 8-foot thick silo walls, and an actual Titan II missile in the launch duct. Visit the launch control center, experience a simulated launch and more. I hope to see others there.
