  • Lack of Scientist and Engineers??

    Not!!

I am tired of Billionare cheap skates like Bill Gates, claiming that the U.S needs more money for science and engineering grads to fill tech jobs! What a bunch of B.S, sorry but it is just another barage of propaganda from the elite.

The U.S has plenty of domestic scientist and engineers but what the corporati wants is cheap Indian or Chinese engineers imported to do the work for 40,000 yearly supposed to 130,000. Just like the Mexican gardener, there are many americans who would do that work for 15 dollars an hour, but the amigo will do it for 8.00. It is all about profit and screwing the middle class, why pay a well educated, experienced, and very smart. But Bill Gates would rather push for the HB-1 visa for Mr. Patel to come to America and work at microsoft for slave wages.

Have the masters in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech, sorry your job is now in Pakistan.

Here is an article on the abundance of science and engineering types, but work in other areas now..

Yep. My kid graduated from engineering school with a 4.0. Did three internships, good references...no job prospects in 4 months so far.

Several thousand excellent and highly skilled engineers (of all specialities) have recently been laid off from an essentially cancelled space program.

This is why WE are becoming a third world country. That and the fact that our manufacturing base is being out-sourced to other parts of the world (part of the globalist agenda).

Several years ago, I had to get an xray for something. After it was taken, we were waiting around for the person to "read" it and tell us what we needed to know. That's when I found out that the image was sent over the internet to some guy in India to be read. True story. I also heard that Bill Gates had petitioned congress for a waiver or whatever so he could import workers from India to write his software. He said he couldn't find enough workers here to do it. What he really meant was that he couldn't find enough workers here who were willing to work for substandard wages. The part that really makes you sick is that even Henry Ford realized that if he didn't pay his workers enough, they couldn't afford to buy the cars they were building. When are these fools going to figure it out? Is there really enough overseas market to sell their products to?

Yes, this is a very good example to illustrate my original point. Why on Earth would I dare import engineers from a country such as India with often times dubious educational regulations and standards. India is a country with hundreds of millions of people still with out very basic sanitation, they think the rivers are their personal toilet.. This is going to be the next superpower? As you mentioned earlier it is cheaper but the quality is greatly lacking in some cases and has driven down wages. The corporations know that with NAFTA in place along with other free trade agreements cheap labor and materials are easily available. There is nothing to stop these people from attempting every scheme to destroy American jobs and subsequent quality of life.
