Good, It's time for me to shakedown my hunting first aid kit, I plan on going chasing after Mr. Whitetail and Mr. Bushytail this year.

We are taking a brand new hunter with us, a kid that shoots IPSC with us. They both may be tired of the ole man harping my the end of youth weekend:) LOL
I'm putting together a small fire and aid kit for him. I'm sure he doesnt have them but in my camp it's required. The girl carries her stuff in her car, her hunting bag is her GMHB too.

Yep safety first, both gun & knife. I just got back from Wyoming & I cut my left index finger badly while cutting off the front leg of an antelope. I was able to get it taken care of with my boo-boo kit in my hunting vest. Good practice putting a bandage on a finger one handed. I got a doe whitetail & and doe antelope. My first antelope, it was very cool stalking & crawling on my belly to get a shot. Got busted once, missed 300 yard shots twice, but finally got a good standing broadside shot at 280-300 yards for a one shot kill.
Boy the sheridan Wy area has a real whitetail deer problem, you can buy unlimited doe/fawn tags in certain areas.
Also it's back to the range for me & lookign for an ammo re-loading outfit.
          Stay safe.
Survival question. What do I need most, right now?

Totally agree! It's almost impossible to "over stress" the safety factor. Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot, and don't point that weapon at anything you don't want to kill. Be safe and Happy hunting everyone!
