Ok Dr Freud. Now I'll give you my evaluation of you and some others here;

You've come from places and backgrounds that exerted a lot of pressure on you to conform and follow. Before you have a thought or opinion, you check with what the talking heads and party leaders have to say about the issue first,,,then you adjust your opinion appropriately. You style yourself a 'republican' but have no concept of the roots, or the philosophy behind that party. You hide your ample fears behind nationalism, flag waving, and rah,rah neo-conservative politics.

You're actually just conservative democrats but you don't know it, you want big government, but don't want to pay for it. Your education level is low, and you hide your ignorance behind party politics, and emotional displays of 'patriotism' ( the true definition of which is completely incomprehensible to you ). When you see opinions that differ from yours or when you are forced to look at pictures that threaten the foundation upon which you have laid all your understanding of this confusing and scary world...you react viscerally, attacking the messenger and trying to vilify him. At your very core you are frightened, terrified people who see threats and fear people who couldn't care less about you.

It's not the questioned reliability of American troops that pose such a danger. It's the historical practice in other countries of bringing in foreign troops to put a lid on people that worries me. Foreign troops would not have the compunction of domestic troops when coming down hard on citizens. I believe that the present PTB would not blink an eye to do just that to advance their agenda for this country. That's scary!

I hate to play Devil's Advocate when it comes to military, as yours truly was one of them. But the military that will question authority is few and far between.

I give you the number of blue beret wearers taking orders from a FOREIGN leader. 100% against our oath of enlistement, and the one Soldier that refused was PUNISHED for questioning and refusing to follow the ILLEGAL order.

I give you the National Guard Soldiers who were more than willing to fire upon New Orleans residents (there words) if they refused to give up their firearms, again following ILLEGAL orders.

I know I know, how could I say something negative about Soldiers right. Well being one of the members awarded a medal for entering a burning Pentagon when there was still one commercial aircraft that was hijacked unaccounted for, I can tell you , there are A LOT of chickens wearing a uniform. We brought up, just what I know of, over 10 Soldiers in my immediate area on charges of leaving their assigned place of duty 9-11. One being my wife's commanding officer (Air Force leutenant).

Now, we are the best military in the world, hands down, but we definitely have "I'm just here for the college money/benefits" Soldiers, as well as Soldiers that have NO PROBLEM following illegal orders.

To the non military, and non-LEO folks on the board- that includes me- we all need to understand a couple things.

First and foremost, whether the gubmint will admit it or not, their is a HUGE underground patriot movement within military and law enforcement circles. Key word in that last sentence- HUGE. Quite a few of these folks WILL BE EFFECTIVE for freedom (i.e, the good guys) IF things ever come down to a point wherein they are called upon to do things against Americans. This HUGE underground movement ARE the proverbial "good guys." Just like most of us, they are concerned about their freedoms, their families and protecting and bringing back what America once was. These types are OUR ALLIES and we need to recognize that.

During bad times it may later manifest itself either in small actions- the Staff Sergeant in the Iowa National Guard that looks the other way at the right time- to larger actions wherein WHOLE COMPANIES of the 3rd ID refuse unlawful orders from some two bit wanna be dictator that may come to power.

The gubmint and the socialists KNOW they have a major problem with these folks in military and civilian LE. They KNOW it and they know it's a HUGE problem. They FEAR this freedom loving element in both the military and LE.

The last thing we need to do is to alienate them.

Be smart about what you say, be respectful. The mil or LEO guy your disrespecting might very well be part of that HUGE underground movement.

Remember guys, the enemy WANTS US ALL DIVIDED. Divide and conquer is their primary weapon.

Thanks, eeyore. As prior Army and a card carrying member of Oath Keepers myself, I was going to bring this up. Comparing our military to the "military in Syria, Iran, Egypt, Libya" as knocky just did shows not only a sickening amount of ignorance, but is actually stomach churning to me that there are so many of these mouth breathers that have never actually served that have an "opinion" at all. While I do believe in the freedom of speech, I think there are those that have mouthed off enough to have personally revoked their citizenship with their words. These people do not deserve the same rights as a citizen. Yes, it goes against everything in the constitution, but these bastards will be the exact ones written about in "One Second After" that, once the military is no longer there to shelter their pampered asses, will band together to build the "Posse" that comes after the preppers. Whats going on now, has nothing to do with 'your freedom', in fact, all this running around policing the world for profit is creating more enemies everyday, THAT is what is threatening your freedom. How would you feel if China put a military base in your town? Well thats about how other people feel about our presence. We were told we would be welcomed by the people of Iraq with parades and smiles, but we found quite the opposite. To date we killed over 100,000 Iraqi's and profits for private contract companies are in the hundreds of billions. The fact of the matter is, the military accounts for upto 57% of revenues...that means 57 cents out of every tax dollar goes to fund our military. A big percentage of that money goes to the very people who lobby to go to war. You are inundated with catch phrases and rhetoric about 'fighting for freedom', you regurgitate it but couldn't possibly give a logical explanation about what that means. This is why we are broke, that is why they cannot balance the budget and that is why our debt has grown out of all proportion.

The biggest threats to your freedom are coming from within, not from faceless enemies on the other side of the globe.
