All it is going to take is some of these riots or flash mobs to go to the wrong town where people are armed. When there are a few dead minority bodies littered about,

and it will snowball from there. It may not be minorities. Pick any race. Once enough of it happens, people will stand up. However i think the "white guilt" may let it continue farther longer if the victims are "white" per say, doing nothing but letting it get worse . The media etc wont just flat out say it if it gets that bad.
However,,,the minute some 35 yr old dad of 2, is at the mall and 100 rampaging "upstanding ,contributing members of society" come crashing down the food court, kicking and beathing people yelling slurs, and he pulls out a CCW when him and his kids are cornered by a group of "kids" trying to curb stomp them.....it will be turned around as a "neo nazi,skin head, militia, republician" who gunned down innocent school kids on a sunday afternoon.......and we'll get to see their grandma's and "aun-TY's" cry that their "baby was innocent"...on the 6 o clock news..

then we'll see some backlash....as what your getting at.

Yep, many will be flayed in the media, but eventually I think the legal system would prevail on the justifiable use of force... Especially with the fools video recording it for YouTube... But it will cost them, unless a place like the Rutherford Institute rises up and defends them pro-bono.

Noticing the riots going global in places... Waiting to see how it shows up on our shores... I am carrying a lot more often now than I was in the past months...

How about a more nuanced poll? Although i appreciate the topic, the two choices are "everything rosie" and "trouble that will take a long time". How about fast collpase?

maybe we can have a poll with "how long until economic collapse (i.e. dollars stop working for necessity transactions)

If things don't turn around real fast, I'd say less than a year. There will be a tipping point, when the DOW will have lost about 45 - 50% of their present value, the rest of the house of cards will fall down. We've started the second dip already, with a full on depression coming. Then, total collapse.

But I've been known to be wrong before.

The poll was made intentionally so that people would have a hard choice, either straight up yes or straight up no.

The coming days are days of HARD CHOICES. Some of them might include:

*Continue working in an area where your family is enduring riots or get out.
*Believe the newspeak
*Taking that "camping vacation" for a few weeks when things get bad or letting your non preparing spouse rule the roost and say "No everything is fine, the TV guy says we are safe 2 miles from the ghetto."
*Taking DEFINITE ACTION when it is necessary or sitting on your hands.
*Feeling apathetic about the situation or DOING something.
*Listening to your "gut feeling" or for Believers, the prompting of the Holy Spirit or letting your "conscience be seared with a hot iron" because of the ways of the world, a non prepping spouse, not really being the true leader of your family or because your family is "happier in the city".

Just like all the jews that didn't want to leave their pianos and other stupid trinkets and therefore didn't emigrate (bug the flip out) when it was possible, if we let our conscience be seared at a time like this, we will be convincing ourselves that everything is o.k. and rationalize "well the riots are in Wisconsin and I live in Iowa so it's o.k." Then "well the riots are in Iowa City and the Quad Cities and I live in Ames so it's o.k." And then "well the riots are in the bad section of Ames, so it's o.k." to awake and find them on your block.

Everyone will have a different "line in the sand" but it's important to HAVE a line in the sand and be totally 110% committed to taking action at that point. Not further sitting on your hands, not further "research"- gonna be a whole helluva lot of unprepared people still trying to do "research" on things they should have taken care of six months ago when the time comes!

Be flexible, but KEEP THE INITIATIVE.

If your decision making skills have gotten out of shape because of whatever reason (lazy, irresponsible, castration whether real or imagined) then NOW is the time to start getting your decision making muscles back in order.

Guys, this is flippin serious the situation the country currently is in. Whether or not TS will HTF from it, it bears our serious attention.....
