Well, the story was all about the unemployment numbers today, as it decreased 117,000. Sounds pretty good, huh? Yep, the unemployment number went from 9.2% down to 9.1%. Let us do a look at it a bit different.
Instead of looking at unemployed, let us look at employed. According to the BLS website, we had a decline of 38,000 employed from 139,334,000 to 139,296,000.
