I was just watching the Jay Leno show and he had Roseanne Barr on as a guest... She was talking about her land (I think it's in Hawaii) where she's into organic gardening. Then she says that she's "Off the Grid" with solar power, and she stores water, etc...

Yes!! We FINALLY have a well-known spokesperson for the cause!!

Oh, and she also said she's running for President. (It just keeps getting better, huh?)

(Never liked Rosie or her show. I really grew to really dislike her when she had Tom Selleck on her show and bashed him for his stance on the NRA. I did however like the fan and public outcry/outrage over her comments to him, and her public apology to him.)

And remember, Tom Selleck is also a prepper. The man owns a farm, grows his own crops and has plenty of guns and horses. If anyone is going to survive the upcoming issues we are all looking at, it will be Magnum P.I.

Also keep in mind that no matter how obnoxious Rosanne is, she's NOT stupid. She gave her background on a show once, which included having a baby at 17, having the baby taken from her, spending several years in a mental institution, and other pretty gritty stuff. I'm sure at heart she is a survivor. She would have to be to hang around after what she went through. Plus she has made a TON of bux, so she can afford to set herself up pretty much any way she wants.

Rosie was on Oprah not to long back, you got to see her macadamia nut farm in Hawaii, and he talked about having enough food and being independent. I kinda half smiled, because I'd be willing to bet she's one of those people that can't understand the difference between the media portrayal of a 'survivalist', and the actuality of being a 'prepper'.
She's a hippie folks. Hippies can have good points. That don't mean they ain't evil though.

That's pretty damn stupid. You know what you wrote.

You could have just put something VAGUE like "I thought she played for the other team" and most adults would have "got it", but no, you used some pretty crude language and named some specific items.

It's got nothing to do with you arguing with other posters that a .22 is the best weapon in the world, only one anyone would need, etc. that's your business if you want to be under guned when the time comes.

Your attitude sucks. When I edited your post I put "no FURTHER warnings." Not "your final warning." But I guess your "college education" didn't involve Comp?
