    as of just now...

And here I heard the debt thing would be good for the country??? What gives!! LMAO

"Hope you got your $hit together...." Can't remember the rest of the song. CCR I believe.

And here is some good news out of Europe-

Those that bought silver at $45. or more might soon be back above water. Those that bought at $4. or $7. way back when might want to turn some of it into something more tangible or edible.
Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"

Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"

Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"

Whoa-the market is all over the place, and it looks like many are going for hard cash.

In a dramatic sign of the growing fear in the financial markets, Bank of New York Mellon is seeing such a surge of cash that it plans to begin charging large depositors a fee to hold dollars.

The New York-based investment manager and trust bank is citing a sudden increase in dollar deposits caused by jitters about the U.S. and European debt crises."

        __________________________

So they're holding so much of people's cash they charge them instead of a small interest to that account?

Anyway, folks leaving the market and going to cash is kinda scary. Should be interesting tomorrow too when the jobs report comes out.

Just called most of my "crew." All are aware of the situation and are watching "things." If things get bad and anyone from here needs help just e-mail me. If I can help then I will. Just don't ask for money. LOL (well, you can ask...., and after I get done laughing......)

I don't know Ibetiny- might be better for you to give them paper, I mean cash instead of other items here soon, LOL.

              512 drop. That's not good.

Might be a buying opportunity around 10,000

Most of my Roth is in money market (cash), some international funds. Yes, it's gambling money, etc. It's my gamble that TEOTWAWKI WON'T hit before I retire :)

I've bought in on major drops before and done o.k. about 80% of the time. My feeling is they will likely pull another rabbit out of the hat. I just don't know what rabbit is still available....

Yes, that's the kicker... What rabbit is left? Alot of the problem today was because of Europe concerns - and I'm not sure what we can do about that from this side of the pond!
