  • What would be?

The appropriate place for selling items on here? I've got a metric butt ton of stuff I'm planning on selling once I get my household goods in from Germany. Just stuff I either don't use or have many, many duplicates of and I'm trying to thin out the ranks. Even some Multicam Kifaru stuff I know Protus will be first in line for lol Okay, no Kifaru, but other goodies.

Seriously though, is there a specific forum for bartering and selling? I'd rather the forum here have first crack at it as opposed to fleabay.

Just FYI, it will be several weeks before my household goods get here. Plus, going through and organizing the stuff and figuring out what I can keep and get rid of.

We are toying around with the idea of a "barter and for sale" subforum board. I just don't want to get us in too deep with things to have to take care of at one time.

I'm torn cause I know some folks would appreciate a subforum like that, but I think it would also further encourage the POS spammers that are just looking for free advertisement.

That would be pretty cool, especially for folks in the same region. But keeping the spammers down and keeping everything legal would be a challenge.
You know what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like this?

Is there a way to keep it kosher, like list with mod approval, and post counts?
I don't have anything to sell right now, but that could change.

For now, we will use the Registered Members forum. I'll post some criteria relating to this there in a day or so. That will at least control the spammers somewhat.

Spammers are going to spam no matter what , I don't think a subsection in the registered forum would get any more spam then it does now . I for one , would love to see what others have to offer .

I'd like to see that list also.
