Article I picked up from Drudge, you may have seen it already!

Basically the gist I got from the first few paragraphs is that the only reason we aren't seeing blackouts/brown outs is because there are no
1. Big storms knocking things around right now
2. The economy is weak, decreasing demand.

It's fluff piece, I think, but one I share because while we are waiting for TEOTWAWKI, something stupid like a blackout could be getting ready to happen behind our backs.

Your thoughts?

Urban Survivalist- Can we wait just a bit longer, I am still working on my preps???? ;) (although, I am better prepared than most)

This article does bring up a good point about how fragile our infrastructure is. The power grid hasn't been upgraded in years.... like water on a rock, all it takes is time.
