Happy 1st to the forum... Happy 1st to the forum... la-la-la-la

The camo tests were great... Found my favorite BDU's with that thread. Learned realities of groups and communities and that very few have gotten them to work. Learned that only .000000000000001% of the US population (members of this forum and a few others) has a clue, and that I'm OK with that... (dust off sandals). Learned to accept my realities and work with it. Picked up some good advice... The trigger work video by PAW was good education. I often don't "feel" the reset and suffer for it in accuracy....

Basically, just enjoyed hanging out with people of like mind... Thanks everyone for making this an almost everday stop!

A big thanks to the staff and all the members.
If not for the info I've learned here I would be a sheeple or at best a six bucket wonder.
So thank you for the site and all the great info.

          Happy Birthday S&P.

It takes everyone here to make this forum what it is, but it took Robert to set the direction. Thanks Robert!

Wow, don't even know where to start
I've learned so much from everyone it's amazing. The last 2 years has been rough for me and the family but we have come out blessed. We have alot of work to do yet but as with most things it's small steps towards goals. I may or may not reach them but we must try.
I have learned alot in solar, commo, water collection, food storage and got alot of new ideas from folks on things I was working on.
It feels good to know that there are people who don't live in a gazillion dollar underground fortified zombie proof retreat in the "survivor" states with better arnament, commo, alarms and other equipment than most militaries are still working to survive.
I have learned that I am "on track" with the way I do things and the way I train and continue to build skills.
I have learned that as this country deteriorates and distrust builds I must redouble my efforts to do the right things always.
I appreciate the diverse voices of everyone even when we disagree. Life would be awful boring if we were exactly the same.
People doing honest evaluations of product reviews is a huge plus.
Having folks from all professions that will chime in really helps in skill building.
I'm amazed that anyone can listen to my redneck voice and still get anything outta it!

Everyday I come in and can't wait to see what the forum has to offer. I appreciate the efforts of everyone and the staff who make it happen.

There's been so many things. I guess the most important has been my introduction to solar energy. Members of the forum are very knowledgeable about this subject. Heres a list.

              Solar Energy
              Gardening
              Self Defense Maneuvers
              Gun Maintenance
Sewing with fishhooks and plant fibers
              Water filtration
The list goes on and on!

Thanks Robert and all the knowledgeable members of this Forum - love you folks.

That there are people out there who are like minded, possess quality information and are willing to share it without coming off as being self important. I've learned a lot about food storage and priorities in my preps.

Thank you everyone for making this my primary stop on the net. The efforts by Robert and the mods to make this a pleasant, informative forum are greatly appreciated.
What a long, strange trip it's been.....

                              A few things....

This journey begins with a few steps and then a few more. Like traveling to some destination, you have to start some where and keep going. Prepping isn't all that different.
                              -----------------
Like other posts I have read here. I have learned no matter how much you scream, beg, or *****. There are some that may never come to the idea that they need to be "prepared".
                              -----------------
There are different ways to accomplish the same task. Find what works for you and use it. "There is more than one way to skin a cat".
                              ----------------
I ignored water storage, procurement, way too much. Listening to you folks helped me see that.
                              ---------------
There is no "perfect" bug out bag, and the contents may be as diversified as what each of us carries in our wallets. (Thanks Protus and LD3).
                              ---------------
I still have verry little idea what most of our Military member's are talking about when they start using acronyms to explain gear, tactics. *cheesy grin at Matt*
                              --------------
Before, I thought I was, "thinking crazy" and felt alone for believing in being prepared with this way of life....now I know i'm not alone anymore.
                              Thanks
